New software in MetaCentrum
We've purchased and installed a set of new (commercial) software:
- Ansys CFD (Ansys Fluent + Ansys CFX)
- software packages for computational fluid dynamics
- license allows 25 simultaneous runs
- moreover, 60 licenses of Ansys HPC were purchased (to allow distrubuted/parallel computations using up to 60 cores)
- Matlab version 8.0
- a new version of the Matlab integrated system allowing symbolic and numeric computations, analyses and data visualisations, etc..
- 100 additional Matlab licenses (actual state is 350 licenses)
- increased the number of the Matlab DCS (Distributed Computing Server/Engine) licenses by 128 -- these were purchased by the Centre CERIT-SC (actual state is 160 licenses)
- Maple v. 16
- a new version of the Maple computation engine
- 30 licenses purchased
- TotalView v. 8.10
- a debugger for debugging all single-threaded as well as parallelized/distributed programs, including CUDA programs' debugging support
- license for 64 simultaneously-debugged processes
- Allinea DDT v. 3.2
- a debugger for debugging all single-threaded as well as parallelized/distributed programs
- license for 32 simultaneously-debugged processes
- Intel C++ Composer XE v. 12
- we've increased the available licenses of Intel compilers by 2 (actual state is 4 licenses)
- PGI Cluster Development Kit v. 12.4
- the newest version of the PGI compilers available (2 licenses) -- these were purchased by the Centre CERIT-SC
- many open-source and free applications/tools
