New versions of various applications
There were several applications installed/upgreded in recent days:
- Matlab (integrated system covering tools for symbolic and numeric computations, analyses and data visualizations, etc.) -- version 8.1
- Gaussian (package of programs based on basics of quantum mechanics) -- revision D01
- R (language and environment for statistical computing and graphics) -- version 3.0.1
- Dendroscope (software for visualizing phylogenetic trees and rooted networks) -- version 3.2.8
- Argus (focused on developing network activity audit strategies and prototype technology) -- version 3.0.6
- Python (a general-purpose high-level programming language) -- version 2.7.5
- Numpy (a Python language extension that defines the numerical array and matrix type and basic operations over them) -- version 1.7.1
- Scipy (a Python language extension that uses numpy to do advanced math, signal processing, optimization, statistics and much more) -- version 0.12.0
- Scikit-learn (a Python language extension that uses Numpy and Scipy to provide simple and efficient tools for data mining and data analysis) -- version 0.14.1
- Intel C/C++ Composer XE (compilers and MKL libraries) -- version 13.1
