New HW in MetaCentrum

I'm glad to announce you the MetaCentrum's computing capacity was extended with a new cluster

• cluster alfrid.meta.zcu.cz -- 15 nodes, 240 CPUs, configuration of each node:
  • CPU: 2x 8-core Intel Xeon E5-2650v2 2.60GHz
  • RAM: 256GB
  • disk: 24x 10k 600 GB
  • shared scratch: 10 TB
  • owner: NTIS ZCU
  • net: 2x Infiniband 40 Gbit/s, 1x Ethernet 10 Gbit/s
  • notice: OS Debian8

The cluster alfrid can be accessed via the conventional job submission through Torque batch system (arien.ics.muni.cz server) in the iti queue + short jobs in standard queues.
