NEW cluster aman available

Dear users,

I'm glad to announce you the MetaCentrum's computing capacity was extended with a new SMP cluster aman[1-10].ics.muni.cz (location Brno, owner CESNET), 560 CPU, 10 nodes, each of them with the following specification:

• CPU: 4x 14-core Intel Xeon E7-4830 v4 (2.00GHz)
• RAM: 512 GB
• disk: 2x 4TB 7k2 SATA III, 480 GB Intel SSD S3610
• SPECfp2006 performance of each node: 1490 (26,6 per core)

The cluster can be accessed via the conventional job submission through Torque batch system (@arien-pro server) in standard queues. For complete list of available HW in MetaCentrum see http://metavo.metacentrum.cz/pbsmon2/hardware
