IT4Innovations announcement

>IT4Innovations Supercomputing Centre announces 1st Open Access Call, in which will distribute 4 750 000 core hours.
Applications will be accepted till March 4, 2013. Detailed information including the electronic form of application can be found here: http://www.it4i.cz/en/comp-resources-open.php.
Employees of academic institutions other than IT4Innovations who have their registered offices or a branch in the Czech Republic (it means also employees of VSB – TUO, OU, OSU, UGN AV and VUT, who do not participate at the project IT4Innovations) can apply. Furthermore, persons and entities that have acquired and/or participate in implementing a project supported from the Czech Republic’s public resources. Citizenship does not affect applicants’ eligibility.
IT4Innovations’ access competitions are aimed at distributing computational resources while taking account of the development and application of supercomputing methods and their benefits and usefulness for society. Open Access Competition is held twice a year. Proposals will undergo a scientific, technical and economic evaluation.
