New HW in MetaCentrum

I'm glad to announce you the MetaCentrum's computing capacity was extended with a new cluster (owner CERIT-SC).

• cluster zefron.cerit-sc.cz -- 40 nodes, 320 CPUs, configuration of each node:
  •  CPU: 32x 8-core Intel Xeon E5-2650v2 2.60GHz
  •  RAM: 1 TB
  •  disk: 4x1TB 10k, 2x 480 GB SSD
  •  owner: CERIT-SC
  •  net: 1x Infiniband 40 Gbit/s, 1x Ethernet 10 Gbit/s, 1x Ethernet 1 Gbit/s
  •  notice: Performance of each node is 1370 points in bechmark SPECfp2006 base rate. A GPU card NVIDIA Tesla K40 is available on zefron8 node.
    

The cluster zefron can be accessed via the conventional job submission through Torque batch system (wagap.cerit-sc.cz server).

A GPU card NVIDIA Tesla K40 (owner Loschmidt Laboratories) is available on zefron8 node. For GPU job just specify "gpu=1" in your script:

 -l nodes=1:ppn=X:gpu=1
