We would like to cordially invite you to participate to the Grid computing workshop 2014, which will take place on December 2 at Masaryk dormitory, Thákurova 1, Praha. The aim of the workshop is to introduce the services offered by theMetaCentrum and CERIT-SC computing infrastructures to the Czech research community and related actual/planned news (new scheduling system, planned computing resources, infrastructure news and tips, etc.). This year, the gold workshop sponsor is the Humusoft company, which is-- among others -- the Czech supplier of the MATLAB computing environment. Thus, during the morning section, a presentation about the Matlab's application to various research fields as well asparallel/distributed/GPU computing possibilities will be given by Humusoft experts. The possibilites of running Matlab computations on MetaCentrum/CERIT-SC infrastructures will also be presented. The seminar is co-organized by CENET, z.s.p.o., CERIT-SC Center, and our partners from HUMUSOFT s.r.o., the International reseller of MathWorks, Inc., U.S.A., for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
