NEW cluster nympha.zcu.cz

Dear users,

I'm glad to announce you the MetaCentrum's computing capacity was extended with a new cluster nympha.zcu.cz (location Pilsen, owner CESNET, 2048 CPUs) with 64 nodes and 32 CPU cores in each:

• CPU: 32x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6130 CPU @ 2.10GHz
• RAM: 192 GiB
• disk: 1x 960 GB NVMe
• SPECfp2006 performance of each node: 1220 (38 per core)
• Net: Ethernet 1Gb/s, Infiniband FDR 56Gb/s
• OS: Debian 9
• home: /storage/plzen1/home/

The cluster can be accessed via the conventional job submission through PBS Pro batch system (@arien-pro server) in default queue. Only short jobs are supporting from the beginning.

If you experience any problem with libraries or applications compatibility on Debian9, please, try to add module debian8-compat.
